Indoor Terrarium Gardens The things in this category are hard to categorize. What category of merchandise is a faucet light? Is it a gadget or a decoration? Or plumbing? Some people might say it's a toy, but grownups like them just as well as kids, and it's pretty common practice to discourage children from playing with the sink, so we decided it's not a toy. It's a home decoration gadget.
How about the LED Cube? Is that a toy or a decoration or a gadget? It's too fragile to be called a toy, but it doesn't really qualify as a gadget because it doesn't really DO anything. Then again, it's pretty blinky and gadgety. It's a decorational gadget!
And then there's the Aeropress coffee maker. We don't have a coffee section or a kitchen section, and it wouldn't make much of a decoration, so what should we call it? Until we have more coffee and kitchen-type stuff, it's a gadget. Yes, it's a low tech gadget, but a really good one! We sell more Aeropress coffee makers to people overseas than any other item. People love it!
The Space Ant Farm is kind of a toy-like thing, but it also makes a great decoration. It's a nice color, and it lights up, and it's a great conversation piece. Since it was NASA's idea, maybe it could qualify as a gadget?
We have a whole section of terrarium gardens, and they are also sort of toy-like because children like them. But just as many adults like them as children, and they make a nice window decoration, so we decided to mention it in this section, too.
We soon plan to add a few more gadgety decorations, so check back and see what we come up with!
